After twenty years directing many productions for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Ron was named Honorary Associate Director of the RSC. He directed many of the pillars of British theatre such as Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Mark Rylance, Derek Jacobi, Michael Sheen, Simon Russel Beale, Imelda Staunton and Harriet Walter. Many of whom he continues to work with now. Ron spent the last 30 years directing in the US and his native Brazil but is now happy to be back in the UK.

Ron is also an acting coach and has taught at schools such as RADA, Harvard and Yale. He is most excited by how exploring Shakespeare's text can make you a better actor. If you can master Shakespeare, you can master anything - a philosophy he carries into all of his teaching. Ron is excited to launch new workshops and courses, coming soon.
